Cox Capitol Theatre is both a live entertainment venue and a movie theater. The venue hosts concerts, film series and comedy shows. Upcoming acts include comedian Brett Butler from the former television show "Grace Under Fire." Cox Capitol Theatre also has a restaurant that is open during shows.

Laughing Skull Lounge
If Whiskey River or Cox Capitol Theatre don't make you laugh, consider taking an hour and a half trek to Atlanta, Georgia where you will find a plethora of comedy clubs including Laughing Skull Lounge. The Lounge is located in the Midtown Mile area of Atlanta and claims to be the smallest full-time comedy venue in the world. The owners of Laughing Skull Lounge believe comedy is best in an intimate setting and will only seat 74 people. Past performers include Paul Thompkins, who taped a special for the Comedy Central television network, at the lounge.
