Women have traditionally been the beneficiaries of makeup, but in today's world, more men are beginning to discover the benefits of wearing it. Read on to learn apply makeup on men.


Instructions


1. Purchase makeup supplies. Use makeup designed for women if men's makeup is not available. As men's makeup becomes more popular to use, it is becoming easier to find. Choose shades as close to your skin tone as possible.


2. Exfoliate the face. Wet the face with warm water. Gently rub the exfoliator over the face in an upward, circular motion. Rinse it off. Gently pat the face dry. Do not do this immediately after shaving.


3. Wet a round makeup pad with warm water. Squeeze out the excess water. Put a little bit of toner on the pad. Rub it over your face to finish wiping away any dead cells left by the exfoliant.


4. Put a small amount of moisturizer with at least SPF 15 on your fingertips. Gently massage the moisturizer into the skin. Try not to tug or pull when applying the moisturizer.


5. Use the small brush to apply concealer to any blemishes. Start in the middle of the blemish and feather out the concealer to blend with skin tone.


6. Pick up a small amount of loose powder in the large brush. Gently flick the brush all over the face to give an even tone all over. Don't forget the neck.


7. Apply a small amount of lip balm to the lips with your finger. Keep the lip balm in your pocket for touch-ups throughout the day.
