Copy and Paste Layers
Graphic-design programs enable users to easily create in-depth images that have an underlying structure, even though they simply look like images to everybody else. A crucial piece of this structure is the use of layers to create an image. Of the many different tasks that these programs allow you to accomplish, the ability to copy and paste layers into images is one of the most useful features.
Instructions
1. Open the image into which you wish to paste layers. Scroll to the file tab on the command bar and select “Open.” Browse to the image you wish to use and open it in the program.
2. Open an image you want to convert to a layer in order to paste it into an existing image. You will also need an image you wish to paste into the master image as a layer. Open this desired image.
3. Copy an image to paste as a layer. Highlight the desired image by left-clicking on it to select it. Then press the hot keys “CTRL-A” to select the entire image. Scroll to the “Edit” tab on the command bar and select “Copy” to copy the image.
4. To paste the copied image as a layer into the master image, left-click on the master image to select it. Then scroll to the “Edit” tab and select “Paste As New Layer.”
