Laughing Skull Lounge
If you're visiting the Atlanta area, stop in for some fun and laughs at one of the city's several comedy clubs, like the Laughing Skull Lounge. With only 74 seats, the audience gets an up-close and personal view of the acts. Past performers have included Paul F. Tompkins, who taped his Comedy Central special at the club in July of 2009. Those new to the stage can even learn a thing or two at the club's "Comedy 101" stand-up comedy class. Though the club doesn't sell food during performances, you can still grab a bite to eat at the The Vortex Bar & Grill, which is attached to the comedy club.
