Enjoy live music together on a date at Eddie's Attic in nearby Decatur, an east suburb of Atlanta. Eddie's Attic has concerts each night of the week. Bowl at Ten Pin Alley, an upscale bowling alley with a restaurant, lounge and private lanes that are available to rent for exclusive parties. Atlanta has professional football, basketball, baseball and hockey teams. Attend a Falcons, Hawks, Braves or Thrashers game on a date. Crowds at Atlanta sporting events can be large, and you don't want to miss the game by waiting in line to purchase tickets. Grab a bite to eat at the venue while you and your date watch the game.

For couples on first dates, comedy shows could help break the ice. Older couples will enjoy sharing a laugh together. The ATL House of Comedy produces weekly comedy shows at different venues around town. The shows are free for those with printed e-tickets through the producer's website. Without a ticket, it'll cost you and your date $10 per person. On Sunday nights there is a comedy show at Allure Lounge. Monday night's comedy shows take place at Cloud IX. The Wednesday night comedy show is at Perl Bistro. Thursday night comedy shows take place at Taboo 2. On the last Friday of each month, there's a comedy show at Apache Caf .
