Do Flowers With Acrylic Paints

I find that acrylic paint is much easier to use than oil paint. For some reason I never have trouble blending or anything with it like most people. This is just some ideas on paint flowers.

Instructions

1. If your doing a background to your piece then go ahead and get that done. It's really hard to paint a background around an image.

2. If it helps you take a pencil and if the background paint is dry lightly sketch out the flower you want to paint. It will help you stay focused on how you want it to look.

3. Start by choosing the main color of the flower. Paint the sketched flower with this color and let it set for a few minutes. It really doesn't have to dry completely to start painting over it. Especially if you are wanting to blend colors.

4. Keep putting your colors in, alternating brushes when you need to. (Different brushes help do different things.) If your having trouble with lines use the smallest brush you can find. Eventually with some practice you should get the hang of acrylics and painting the different types of flowers.
