Clean Spots On Car Windows

Whenever you are cleaning glass, you want to make sure it ends up spot-free. Sometimes your car windows can be covered in spots not because you did a poor job washing your windshield, but because of the weather and other atmospheric elements. This article will walk you through the process of cleaning spots off your windshield and preventing it from spotting due to rain.

Instructions

1. Clean spots off your car windows the same way you would clean them off your windows at home. Spray down your windshield with windex or vinegar and water.

2. Take your newspaper and crumple it up. Take the newspaper in your hand and work it over the windshield in a circular motion, covering the glass from top to bottom. Use a little extra elbow grease on the spotted areas.

3. Once the windshield is cleaned, protect it from further spotting by applying Rain-X or a similar product to a dry towel. Work the towel in a circular motion. The Rain-X will leave a film on the the windshield. Leave this film on the windshield for 5 minutes.

4. Use your clean, dry towel to remove the film from your windshield. Your windshield should not only be spotless, but the next time it rains, the water will simply fly off your windshield instead of leaving spots.

5. Repeat the Rain X-treatment once every 3 months to ensure that your windshield remains spot-free.
