Street art is normally a way to raise awareness, whether personal, such a establishing a name, or as activism for political or social reasons. Street artists started out by working without permission in public places. Instructions
1. Decide what type of street art to create such as a graffiti-styled tag name or a fine art image such as a building or pond.
2. Create an outline using basic shapes such as rectangles for buildings or bubble lettering for tag names.
3. Add additional details to the outlines such as windows for building, fish for ponds and stars or lightning for tag names. Make a copy of the drawing for backup in case you make a mistake.
4. Outline the copy of the artwork by tracing over the lines with a dark color. Determine a light source and add shadows to the lines, by thickening them for a 3D effect.
5. Color the street art with paint, markers or color chalk.
