Draw A Water Lily

Trace the picture from your monitor.

French Impressionist, Claude Monet, who lived from 1840-1926, painted a series of oil paintings entitled Water Lilies. The series includes approximately 250 oil paintings of water lilies, which in itself gives testimony to the wide variety of water lilies, in color and style. To draw a water lily, you can begin by tracing a photograph of a water lily on a piece of paper. If you would like to draw a water lily onto canvas, for painting, you can lay a piece of carbon paper onto your canvas, cover with your drawing, and retrace to transfer the drawing onto your canvas.
